				Under the directive of Lieutenant-General Younes Elmasry Minister of Civil Aviation, to strengthen relations with the African countries in the various activities of Air Transport including opening new marketing channels for cargo business in Africa and the need for implementing non-stereotypical ways to increase revenue.
Captain Ahmed Adel, Chairman of EGYPTAIR HOLDING Company stated that EGYPTAIR CARGO has started its first freighter to Johannesburg, South Africa today using the new cargo aircraft type A330-200 with a maximum payload of 54 Tons. This is in the context of developing EGYPTAIR CARGO fleet and maximizing the cargo network which coincides with the upgrading of passenger aircrafts, which raises CAIRO AIRPORT profile as a central airport in Africa.
Captain Bassem Gohar, Chairman of EGYPTAIR CARGO, company, added that the company is looking forward to operate a regular weekly flight to Johannesburg during the coming period, applying the yield management plan that is pursued by the company to maximize revenue and optimize the use of available resources and capabilities, through the launching of the new flight network ,which the company intends to apply during the next period.
